What Are You Going to Do About It?
Sometimes growth shows up where you least expect it.
When Nan’s husband, Dave, joined the LivePINK Podcast as its first guest, he stepped into something deeply uncomfortable. He became emotional. He allowed himself to be vulnerable. And when given the choice to record it again or leave it exactly as it was, he said:
“Publish it. That’s who I am.”
But Dave wasn’t the only one being stretched.
The experience challenged Nan to confront her own need for control, allow imperfection, and recognize that excellence doesn’t always require everything to be perfectly polished.
In this episode, Nan explores what happens when we stop developing only the things we’re already good at and become willing to step into what’s unfamiliar. She digs into the psychology of fear, avoidance, repetition and confidence, and why something you’re “bad at” may simply be unpracticed.
Because understanding yourself isn’t enough.
Planning isn’t enough.
Wanting to grow isn’t enough.
At some point, you have to DO something.
So where are you waiting to feel confident before you act?
And more importantly:
What are you going to do about it?
